A friend of mine in Kagoshima, JAPAN discovered the last Snowman standing on the side of a road where most of his relatives and the snow on the streets were long melted gone. Evidently Kagoshima had pretty heavy snow that covered most of the city few days ago. Kagoshima is located at the latitude of 31′ 36″ N (Santa Barbara is 34′ 25″ N) and it does not snow that often. Kagoshima is my hometown!! Thanks for the photo, Kanakoto!

Here in Santa Barbara, we are expecting much-needed rain everyday of this week. They say we probably have snow over the La Cumbre Peak as well. Stay dry and drive carefully everyone!!
